Paneer Butter Masala Gravy curry recipe
Ingredients:
- Paneer – 100 grams
- Butter – 4 tablespoons
- Tomato – 4
- Onion – 2
- Green chillies – 2
- Red chilli powder – 1tablespoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder – 1tablespoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Ginger and garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Oil -2 tablespoons
- Kasoori Methi – 1tablespoon
- Cashew nuts – 10 to 15
- Cardamom powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar – one pinch
- Fresh cream – 2 tablespoons
- Red food color – one pinch
- Salt – to taste
- Coriander leaves – 2 bunches
Paneer Butter Masala curry Preparation method
- Cut 100 grams of paneer and cut into 2 inch cube in a plate and transfer them to a empty bowl.
- Next cut onion, tomato and green chillies, take a non stick pan heat the pan with 1 tablespoon of butter and fry the paneer cubes until they turn to light brown colour.
- Remove fried paneer cubes into a plate and keep it aside.
- In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter and one tablespoon of oil and add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and cashew nuts and saute them for 2 minutes.
- Take a Blender or mixie jar add fried onions, tomatoes, green chillies and cashew nuts blend them by adding some water and blend them to a smooth paste.
- Transfer the paste into a bowl. Now heat the same pan again on low flame with 2 tablespoons of butter and one tablespoon of oil add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
- Pour the blended Puree with cup of water still well for 1 minute. add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, Garam Masala mix well and cook for 4 minutes until the gravy thickens.
- Pick another small bowl add 2 tablespoons of fresh cream and 2 tablespoons of gravy curry which you cooking on flame take that gravy mix together and pour it to the Masala Gravy stir and cook well for 1 minute, cover with lid for 1 minute.
- Next open covered lid, add one teaspoon salt and A Pinch of sugar A Pinch of red food colour mix them.
- Red food colour gives nice colour to whole masala gravy curry.
- Again cover the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on your medium flame to get a nice colour. Open the lid and cook until the gravy turns a bit more thick.
- Make sure the gravy reaches the desired consistency.
- Now add fried paneer cubes into masala gravy curry stir well and cook it for again 1 minute. Next add kasuri Methi powder and finally stir the gravy for half minute until the kasuri Methi powder disappear in Gravy
- cover the lid and cook it for 2 minutes.
- Add Chopped coriander leaves on gravy.
- Then tasty Paneer butter masala gravy curry is ready to serve.
